Some highlights for this new version:

• Updated LogsView.exe utility doesn't require MSXML version 4.0 library anymore.
• User picture control in the "Personal" tab was improved.
• Optimized drawing of custom animated emoticons.
• Several memory and resource leaks were removed.

WinMessenger 2.8 released on 07/31/2009

Final version of WinMessenger 2.8 is available.
Some highlights for this new version:

• The program has been divided in two parts service and client that work in separated processes and communicates using COM mechanism. Client and server can be run on different machines. One server can work with many clients and can listen up to 254 NetBIOS Names.
• Received messages can be read by a computer immediately after receiving (text to speech feature is used) so it isn't necessary to get in touch with a PC to read a message.
• This version provides a COM server that is accessible from any other .NET applications, JavaScripts and VBScripts.
• The platform level has risen. Minimum required OS version is Windows 2000.
• This version is distributed as a Windows Installer installation database (.msi file).
• 64 bits version is also available.

Final version of Vypress Chat 2.1.7 is available.
Some highlights for this new version:

• Support for customized emoticons that can be added by editing the "emoticons.xml" file.
• Support for animated emoticons.
• Multiline/SingleLine switch (Ctrl+Enter or a context menu command) in the message edit in the private chat dialog.
• Remove several memory and resource leaks that caused the Chat to stop working.
• Nicknames autocomplete, using Alt+LeftArrow or Alt+RightArrow keys, TAB normally changes an input focus now.
• The platform level has risen. Minimum required OS version is Windows 2000.
